Crystallic and amorphous structure of solid materials \u2013 Equilibrium conditions and phase diagrams \u2013 Thermally activated processes (diffusion, heat treatments) \u2013 Mechanical behavior of materials under quasi-static (tensile) loading \u2013 Plastic deformation of crystallic materials \u2013 Elastic and elasto-plastic behavior of amorphous materials \u2013 Mechanical behavior of materials under variable loading (fatigue) \u2013 Fractographic and Fracture Mechanics.<\/p>\n<p><strong>LEARNING OUTCOMES<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The students attending this course gain the basic principles of the material science, namely the materials\u2019 internal structure, technological properties and mechanical behavior.
