Sound, spectral and equivalent levels &#8211; Pressure-intensity level<\/li>\n<li>Types of sounds and noises<\/li>\n<li>Sound resonance &#8211; Doppler effect<\/li>\n<li>Reflection, propagation and absorption of sound &#8211; Absorbent materials &#8211; Absorption coefficient<\/li>\n<li>Behavior of sound in enclosed spaces &#8211; Resonance<\/li>\n<li>Reduction of freely transmitted sound &#8211; Attenuation factors<\/li>\n<li>Reduction of airborne sound &#8211; Indicators and sound reduction calculations &#8211; Acoustic behavior of simple and composite surfaces<\/li>\n<li>Noise &#8211; Noise Measurement &#8211; Attenuating Factors and Reduction Methods &#8211; Machine Noise Control &#8211; Acoustic Protection &#8211; Silencers &#8211; Fluid Noise<\/li>\n<li>Noise pollution &#8211; Legislation<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>LEARNING OUTCOMES<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The course is a lecture course and is offered by the construction sector in the 8<sup>th<\/sup> semester of study.<\/p>\n<p>Objectives of the course:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Recognition and acquisition of knowledge about the basic terms of measurement and analysis of sound and the relevant units<\/li>\n<li>Study of the acoustic behavior of rom and open spaces<\/li>\n<li>Calculation of absorption of materials and the sound propagation medium &#8211;
