  1. Understanding technology as a socio-economic phenomenon.<\/li>\n
  2. Understanding technology as provider of competitive advantage.<\/li>\n
  3. Understanding the role of technology in products and production processes.<\/li>\n
  4. Knowledge of the characteristics of technology start-ups and understanding of their importance for the economy.<\/li>\n
  5. Understanding the role of technological innovation in economic development.<\/li>\n
  6. Knowledge of the basic approaches and tools used for technological innovation policy making.<\/li>\n
  7. Knowledge of the processes of the assessment of technological innovations.<\/li>\n
