Its main equipment includes:<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Data acquisition systems<br \/>\n\u2022 Impedance Heads for force excitation measurement<br \/>\n\u2022 Various accelerometer arrays<br \/>\n\u2022 Electromechanical and peripherals for experimental modal analysis<br \/>\n\u2022 Instrumented impulse hammers<br \/>\n\u2022 Arrays of PZTs and peripherals for smart structures<br \/>\n\u2022 Arrays of dynamic (wide bandwidth) strain gauges and peripherals<br \/>\n\u2022 Signal Conditioning equipment and dedicated amplifiers<br \/>\n\u2022 Analogue and digital controllers<br \/>\n\u2022 Real Time data acquisition systems<br \/>\n\u2022 Real Time control module<br \/>\n\u2022 Servo motor systems<br \/>\n\u2022 Hydraulic control systems<br \/>\n\u2022 Modern computing facilities<br \/>\n\u2022 Specialized software for DAQ, vibration and modal analysis, stochastic signal and system analysis and control.<\/p>\n<p>The laboratory has also several prototype structures for the application and analysis of novel methodologies.
