LEARNING OUTCOMES

The course is a compulsory course of specialization and is offered by the CAD/CAM sector in the 9th semester of study. It is a compulsory course for students who choose the specialization of the field.

Objectives of the course:

  1. Recognize the importance and role of systematic design of products, systems and machines
  2. 2. Gain familiarity with design concepts
  3. 3. Understand the different design theories, methods and techniques
  4. 4. Acquire practical experience through the implementation of them for an integrated design project

Upon successful completion of the course the student will be:

  • aware of the role and importance of systematic design for the development of new products and machines
  • familiar with the relevant theories, methods and techniques
