COURSE CONTENT
- Anthropometry
- Design of ergonomic work places
- Muscle work and muscle fatigue, musculoskeletal biomechanical models in load lifting operations
- Fundamentals on electromyography, muscle fatigue assessment methods
- Efficiency at work
- Noise in the work and physiology of hearing
- Natural and artificial lighting and physiology of vision
- Time and labor
- Thermal comfort in the workplace. Assessment of the discomfort hazard 10. Biorhythm and ergonomic shifts.
Laboratory exercises: a. Assessment of thermal fatigue, b. noise assessment in the machine workplace, c. ergonomic intervention in Non Ergonomically designed workplace.
LEARNING OUTCOMES
a. To study the interface between workers and workplace. For this gives the necessary knowledge to the students of the engineering department and aeronautics, understanding of various physical and physiological conditions that occur during the interaction of the workers with their working environment as well as the impact these conditions have on their personal improvement, their health and the performance of their work and b. ergonomic interventions to reduce the negative impacts.
